Gemstone Lights® Track Lighting
Yes. The track lighting system is IP67-rated, meaning it’s completely waterproof and engineered to handle the extreme snow, wind, and sun of Southern Alberta.
Absolutely. Designed and tested in Calgary, Alberta, the system performs flawlessly through sub-zero temperatures, ice, and snow without dimming or failure.
Yes — all lights and cables are UV-rated to prevent fading and cracking under prolonged sunlight exposure.
In most Alberta municipalities, no special permit is required. The Gemstone Lights® Control Box plugs into a standard outlet and remains hidden in a garage, soffit, or protected exterior location.
Most homes are completed in one to two days. Larger or multi-section properties may require additional time to ensure proper alignment and calibration.
Each LED is rated for 50,000+ hours, or roughly 20 years of typical use. Gemstone Lights® provides a Lifetime Warranty on lights and a 10-Year Warranty on parts.
Each light is individually addressable and can be replaced quickly without removing the full system. Replacement parts are covered under the lifetime product warranty.

Gemstone Lights® was founded and developed in Calgary, Alberta. All systems are assembled at their Calgary manufacturing facility, with select LED components sourced from Gemstone’s exclusive production partner.
Gemstone Lights® began in 2016, designed by Tate Leavitt to create a permanent, weatherproof lighting alternative to seasonal holiday lights.
